Digital X-Rays & Oral Imaging in Aventura, FL
The Blueprint of Your Health
At BOND Aesthetic, we believe that exceptional dentistry requires seeing the "whole picture." While a visual exam tells us what is happening on the surface, it only reveals a fraction of the story. To create smiles that are not only beautiful but structurally sound and long-lasting, we need to look deeper.
We have eliminated the guesswork from dental care. By utilizing advanced digital imaging technology, we gain an immediate, high-definition view of your oral anatomy. This allows us to diagnose issues before they become painful problems and plan complex cosmetic cases with microscopic precision.
Transforming Smiles with Advanced Dental Technology
Gone are the days of slow-developing film and sharp plastic tabs. Digital radiography uses electronic sensors to capture detailed images of your teeth, roots, and jawbone instantly.
Intraoral X-Rays: High-resolution close-ups of specific teeth to detect cavities between teeth, check the health of the bone, and monitor the roots.
Panoramic Imaging: A wrap-around image of your entire face, capturing all teeth, the upper and lower jaws, and the sinus areas in a single shot.
CBCT (3D) Scanning: For implants and complex rehabs, we utilize Cone Beam Computed Tomography to create a 3D digital model of your skull, allowing us to navigate nerves and bone density with surgical accuracy.

Why Oral Insights Matters
Diagnostic imaging is the starting line for almost every treatment we offer. It is the necessary pathway if you are:
-
A New Patient: Establishing a comprehensive baseline of your oral health.
-
Planning Cosmetic Work: ensuring the roots and bone are healthy enough to support veneers or crowns.
-
Experiencing Pain: Pinpointing the exact source of an infection, abscess, or fracture that isn't visible to the naked eye.
-
Considering Implants: Measuring bone volume and density to ensure safe placement.
-
Orthodontic Candidates: checking root alignment before moving teeth with aligners.
The Digital Workflow
We have designed our imaging process to be fast, comfortable, and collaborative.
-
Comfort Positioning: We use ergonomic digital sensors with rounded corners that fit comfortably inside your mouth, eliminating the "gagging" sensation of old film.
-
Instant Capture: The image is taken in a split second and appears immediately on our treatment room monitors. There is no waiting for development.
-
Enhancement: We can zoom in, adjust contrast, and color-code the images to see fine details that might otherwise be missed.
-
Co-Diagnosis: We don't just look at the X-rays; we show them to you. We walk you through what we see on the big screen, empowering you to make informed decisions about your health.

Why BOND Aesthetic?
At BOND Aesthetic, we place the utmost importance on safety and clarity in all our procedures. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed with your well-being in mind.
-
Ultra-Low Radiation: Digital X-rays emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional film X-rays, making them safe for the vast majority of patients.
-
Environmental Responsibility: Because there is no film to develop, we eliminate the need for toxic processing chemicals and lead foil waste.
-
Diagnostic Accuracy: The clarity of digital imaging allows us to catch decay in its earliest stages, often allowing for "micro-fillings" rather than large restorations.
-
Seamless Records: Your images are stored digitally and securely, making it easy to track changes in your health over time or share data with specialists if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are dental X-rays safe? Yes. The amount of radiation from a set of digital dental X-rays is extremely low—comparable to the environmental radiation you are exposed to during a short airplane flight. We strictly follow the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
-
How often do I need them? This depends on your risk profile. For most healthy adults, "Bitewing" X-rays (checking for cavities between back teeth) are recommended once a year. A full-mouth series or Panoramic image is usually updated every 3 to 5 years.
-
Can I refuse X-rays? While you have the right to refuse treatment, we cannot ethically treat what we cannot see. Attempting to diagnose decay or plan cosmetics without X-rays is guessing, which falls below the standard of care we provide.
-
Can I send you my old X-rays? Yes. If you have had recent X-rays (within the last 6-12 months) at another office, we can usually transfer them to our system. However, if the quality is poor or they don't show the necessary views, we may need to take new ones.
